We have arrived

Ok people, we have finally arrived at the most important time of the year....football season.  I mean seriously, does it get any better than the months of September to January?  Two major holidays with great food and of course gifts, and weekends full of football.  Personally it doesn't matter to me Saturday or Sunday, pro or college...all good.  Its a good thing that Wife is a football lover too, so the dreaded honey-do list that many guys get on the weekend doesn't really apply to me.  Wife even puts all the important games with kickoff times and opponents on the calendar, seriously the season is already planned out.

So those that know me well know who my favorite teams are, and they probably know that its been a rough few years.  In fact if it wasn't for Wife's alma mater reaching new heights, this guy (two thumbs pointed at chest) may have had to commit sport suicide...it was that rough.  Don't worry though, I am an eternal optimist.  Each week, each season I believe that my team has a chance.  Since it has been such a rough couple of year however, I feel like I am due a few requests...so here goes (leaving out OSU requests, as the Wife has that covered here:  http://notkathy.blogspot.com/2011/09/its-our-time.html?spref=fb )

ASU wish list:

1) Vontaze Burfict to absolutely terrorize opposing QBs and RBs...without penalties.

2) Osweiler to be the stud at QB that this team has been missing since Andrew Walter (or maybe Plummer)

3) Kick Mizzou's butt, finally take town those cheaters in LA, and absolutely destroy UA.  If those are accomplished I am confident that the other critical games will be taken care of.

4) Reach a BCS game, its been too long we are due.

Broncos wish list:

1) Kyle Orton to prove all those  annoying Tebow fans wrong, and have a great season.

2). Knowshon Moreno to live up to his hype...how about staying healthy and getting around 1200 rushing yards.

3) A glorious return for Elvis Dumervil, teaming up with what should be the AFC defensive rookie of the year (Von Miller) for a combined 20 sacks.

4) I would love a playoff spot, but as much as I am an optimistic I am realistic too, so how about at least a .500 record (hey we only won 4 games last year) and sweep the Raiders.

I don't think that those are too much to ask for, in fact pretty reasonable if you ask me.  I could be much greedier.
